Now Send WhatsApp Message To Unsaved Numbers Without Any Tricks: Here's How

You can now send WhatsApp messages to unsaved numbers without using any third-party apps or tricks. The Meta Platforms Inc.-owned META app's latest update allows users to search for a phone number in the app and message them directly.

What Happened: The latest WhatsApp update for iOS and Android has added a highly requested feature – messaging unknown numbers without saving them. The feature is available on WhatsApp for iOS version 23.14.0, and version 2.23.15.11 on Android.

Earlier, sending messages to unsaved phone numbers on WhatsApp required third-party apps and tricks. For instance, on Android, an app named "Wd2" lets you do this by simply opening the app, entering the number, and hitting send. The app uses WhatsApp's click-to-chat API which is usually deployed on websites and other apps to direct their users to WhatsApp.

But that is no longer necessary now with the latest WhatsApp update.

How To Send WhatsApp Messages To Unsaved Numbers

Sending a WhatsApp message to unsaved or unknown phone numbers is now a breeze. Here's how to do it:

  • Update to the latest version of WhatsApp on your iPhone or Android smartphone.
  • Open WhatsApp and tap on the "+" button to start a new chat.
  • Now, tap on the search button on the top bar.
  • Enter the phone number you want to send a message to.
  • Tap on the "Chat" button in the search result.

Note that the phone number you want to send a WhatsApp message to should be registered on the app.
