What's Going On With Microsoft Stock Tuesday?

Microsoft Corp MSFT stock is trading higher Tuesday after it announced Bing Chat Enterprise and Microsoft 365 Copilot pricing.

At Microsoft Inspire, the company disclosed significantly expanding Bing to reach new audiences with Bing Chat Enterprise, delivering AI-powered chat for work, and rolling out today in Preview – which means more than 160 million people already have access

Second, to help commercial customers plan, Microsoft 365 Copilot will be priced at $30 per user per month for Microsoft 365 E3, E5, Business Standard, and Business Premium customers when broadly available.

Third, in addition to expanding to more audiences, Microsoft continues to build new value in Bing Chat and announced Visual Search in Chat, a powerful new way to search, now rolling out broadly in Bing Chat.

Microsoft also disclosed expanding Meta Platforms Inc META AI partnership with Llama 2 on Azure and Windows.

Today, at Microsoft Inspire, Meta and Microsoft announced support for the Llama 2 family of large language models (LLMs) on Azure and Windows.

Llama 2 helped developers and organizations build generative AI-powered tools and experiences. 

Meta and Microsoft are committed to democratizing AI and its benefits, with Meta taking an open approach with Llama 2. 

Now Azure customers can fine-tune and deploy the 7 billion, 13 billion, and 70 billion-parameter Llama 2 models quickly and more safely on Azure. In addition, Meta will optimize Llama to run locally on Windows. 

Windows developers can use Llama by targeting the DirectML execution provider through the ONNX Runtime, allowing a seamless workflow as they bring generative AI experiences to their applications.

Meta and Microsoft have been longtime partners in AI.

Price Actions: MSFT shares traded higher by 5.8% at $365.65 on the last check Tuesday.
