Apple Inc. AAPL has rolled out the first public beta of macOS Sonoma, allowing users to test out the upcoming version of macOS by upgrading from macOS Ventura. The final version of macOS Sonoma will be rolled out later in September.
What Happened: Like its other operating systems, Apple has been testing macOS Sonoma with developer beta for a few weeks now. The first public beta of macOS Sonoma was released earlier last week, alongside iOS 17, watchOS 10, and iPadOS 17.

Public betas are relatively more stable than developer betas. However, bugs might still be present, so proceed with caution.
We also recommend backing up all your data using Time Machine. This will be useful if you don't like macOS Sonoma and want to return to macOS Ventura.

- Predictive text while typing.
- Profiles like personal, business, school, and work in Safari.
- A dedicated ‘Game Mode' for an enhanced gaming experience.
