Apple Inc. AAPL could deliver a price shocker with the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max when it launches its next flagship phones at its September hardware event.
What Happened: Apple will likely hike the prices of the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max, delivering a rare price shock, reported Bloomberg.

A previous report said that Apple is expected to hike only the iPhone 15 Pro Max' price. The Cupertino-based company was expected to hike the ‘Pro Max' variant's price by $100.
However, the new report suggests that even the standard iPhone 15 Pro could see a price hike. The iPhone 14 Pro costs $999, while the iPhone 14 Pro Max costs $1,099.
While the report did not specify the quantum of the iPhone 15 Pro price hike, it noted that Apple is still considering the possibility for now.
First Price Hike For The Pro Max: Apple has been rumored to hike iPhone prices for a while now. The ‘Pro Max' iPhones have not yet seen a price hike since they were first introduced in 2018, but now multiple sources are expecting Apple to hike prices.
While analyst Jeff Pu did not specify the new starting price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, some rumors suggest that Apple could hike the price by $200, raising the starting price to $1,299.
Expect Delays: In addition to higher prices, iPhone 15 shipments could be delayed by a "few weeks", according to Wamsi Mohan, a global securities analyst at Bank of America.
The iPhone 15 series is expected to launch in September alongside the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2. Apple is also expected to roll out the final versions of iOS 17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, and macOS Sonoma at its September event.
