Donald Trump's Latest Rant Targets Chris Christie: '…Was Star Struck By Barack Hussein Obuma'

Former President Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform to launch a typo-ridden counterattack against ex-Governor Chris Christie.

Christie, one of the few GOP presidential rivals willing to directly confront Trump, has been criticizing the former president for his policy failures and criminal indictments, The Raw Story reports.

Trump’s Typo-Plagued Rant: In his response, Trump accused Christie of being “star struck” with former President Barack Obama, thereby sabotaging Mitt Romney’s chances in the 2012 presidential election.

“Christie was so star struck with Barack Hussein Obuma, that Romney, who is a terrible politician and horrible representative of the Republican Party, never had a chance of winning the Presidency,” wrote Trump.

“Christie sold Romney out, making one of the worst Convention Speeches in History — Virtually not even mentioning Romney by name.”

The Backstory: Trump’s comments refer to Christie’s welcoming of Obama to New Jersey for a survey of the Superstorm Sandy disaster, which occurred just before the 2012 presidential election. Trump himself had considered running in that election, following a series of racially charged attacks on Obama’s citizenship.

This recent spat is part of an ongoing feud between Trump and Christie, who has been a vocal critic of the former president’s policy failures and legal troubles.
