Alphabet Inc.'s GOOGL Google has loaded its Pixel smartphones with exclusive features, ranging from special photo editing options to call transcriptions. One of those features is a special ‘At A Glance' widget, and it is all set to come to all Android phones.
What Happened: Google GOOGL is gearing up to bring the ‘At A Glance' widget to non-Pixel smartphones, according to code snippets found by developers.

The widget sports a different design from the one that is available on Pixel phones, taking up two lines instead of the one on Pixel phones. It displays the weather in a bubble on the right side, while the information from the calendar and emails is on the left.
Like other Material You designs, the new widget also changes colors based on the background and dark or light modes. It comes in three different styles, so you have plenty of customization options without having to use a bland widget that originally came with your phone.
One Of The More Nifty Pixel Features: Google's ‘At A Glance' widget has been Pixel-exclusive since it was introduced with the Pixel 6. It surfaces information from emails, calendars, and other apps. When it has no new information, it shows the current weather. The widget is displayed on both the home and the lock screens when the ambient display is enabled.
Non-Pixel smartphones have so far had a 2-line widget whose design has not been refreshed in several years.
With that said, this feature seems to still be in development, and developers have activated it manually. It's unclear when Google will roll it out to users, so we will have to wait for now.
