Meta Platforms Inc META CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently shared a WhatsApp conversation with his wife, Priscilla Chan, on his Instagram story, igniting some laughter and speculation.
The chat was about Zuckerberg’s latest addition to their backyard — an octagon-shaped fighting cage. Seemingly excited about his latest passion for MMA and fitness transformation, Zuckerberg eagerly asked his wife if she’d seen the “awesome” octagonal cage. However, her response showed her reservations.
What happened: Zuckerberg shared a Whatsapp screenshot of his chat with his wife, Priscilla, on Instagram about a new cage he’s put in their backyard. Priscilla was clearly more concerned about the grass she’s been “working on for two years.”

It’s no secret that Zuckerberg has been on a fitness journey, embracing martial arts and taking on intense challenges like the Murph Challenge. He also won gold and silver medals in a Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament.
In addition to his fighting pursuits, Zuckerberg gave us a taste of his daily diet, revealing a whopping 4,000-calorie intake to support his rigorous training. With orders including 20 nuggets, a quarter pounder, large fries, an Oreo McFlurry, and more. Who would have thought the tech mogul had a soft spot for a McDonald’s feast?
Despite his zest for combat sports, Zuckerberg’s wife has her hands full with her philanthropic work and former career as a pediatrician. The couple’s journey began at Harvard University, where they met at a fraternity party in 2003.
While Zuckerberg’s backyard octagon raised eyebrows, it’s clear that this tech mogul is stepping out of his comfort zone and into the ring. But the excitement will peak when Elon Musk vs. Zuckerberg fight gets a date.
