• Vistagen Therapeutics, Inc. VTGN shares gained 747.6% to $14.24 after the company announced its Phase 3 PALISADE-2 trial evaluating the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of fasedienol met the primary and secondary endpoints.
• Sovos Brands, Inc. SOVO climbed 25.2% to $22.56 after Campbell Soup announced it would acquire the company for $23 per share in cash.
• Veritiv Corporation VRTV rose 19.3% to $168.50 after the company announced it will be acquired by CD&R.
• Graham Corporation GHM gaiend 15.7% to $16.15 following better-than-expected quarterly results.
• Applied Optoelectronics, Inc. AAOI surged 15.1% to $12.69. Applied Optoelectronics recently reported better-than-expected second-quarter adjusted EPS results.
• Holley Inc. HLLY jumped 13.2% to $6.93. Telsey Advisory Group upgraded Holley from Market Perform to Outperform and raised the price target from $3 to $7.5.
• United Homes Group, Inc. UHG rose 12.1% to $11.21.
• EchoStar Corporation SATS jumped 10.9% to $21.49. Raymond James upgraded EchoStar from Outperform to Strong Buy and announced a $28 price target.
• ModivCare Inc. MODV rose 10.2% to $38.99.
• Genie Energy Ltd. GNE gained 7.6% to $14.71 following second-quarter results.
• Manchester United plc MANU climbed 7.2% to $21.95.
• Laureate Education, Inc. LAUR surged 7.2% to $14.36. Morgan Stanley upgraded Laureate Education from Equal-Weight to Overweight and raised the price target from $15 to $17.
• Elanco Animal Health Incorporated ELAN rose 7.2% to $12.48 after the company reported strong earnings and raised its 2023 financial guidance.
• Viatris Inc. VTRS gained 6.8% to $11.31 following better-than-expected second-quarter earnings.
• DaVita Inc. DVA rose 6.4% to $115.81 after UBS upgraded the stock from Neutral to Buy and raised its price target from $100 to $142.
• Astronics Corporation ATRO rose 5.4% to $17.93.
