A recent sighting offers an up-close view of Tesla Cybertruck's wheels, shedding light on the electric pickup truck’s suspension and wheel well, Electrek reports.
Despite being mere weeks from initiating deliveries, Tesla has been tight-lipped about the truck’s specifications, with a delivery event scheduled for late September.
The latest sighting, courtesy of triggertx on Instagram, showcases the Cybertruck wheels sans wheel covers. Similar to the Model 3 and Model Y, the base standard wheels of the Cybertruck are expected to be aero wheels, designed for optimal aerodynamics but with a detachable cover. Without the cover, the wheels have a rugged appearance.
Previously, the Cybertruck was spotted with 20-inch wheels paired with 35-inch tires. As Tesla prepares for the truck’s launch, the challenge lies in finding a tire that can withstand harsh conditions without compromising efficiency.
