The newest iteration is expected to break new ground by being the first to incorporate Face ID. Consequently, this signifies the departure of the familiar Touch ID feature from the front of all iPhones.

Additionally, it will introduce the long-anticipated Action Button, which is expected to replace the mute switch. This new feature will make its debut on the iPhone 15 Pro. The device will also have just one rear camera.
Rather than drawing inspiration from older chassis models, the phone is rumored to use design elements from the iPhone 14, a notably recent addition to Apple's lineup. This could be Apple's debut attempt at adapting the design of a previous iPhone iteration to create an SE model. The switch to USB-C aligns with the regulations set forth by the European Union.
The departure from Apple's traditional approach has raised eyebrows, particularly since the brand has historically excelled in enhancing classic designs with cutting-edge processors while keeping affordability in mind. The concept of diminishing the capabilities of a prior phone model represents a distinctive departure from the norm.
