Fisker Inc FSR shares are moving higher Thursday after the EV maker released additional information on the Fisker Alaska pickup truck.
What To Know: Fisker said its sport pickup truck will be built in the United States and have an estimated base price of $45,400.
The Fisker Alaska will have an expandable truck bed that can be adjusted from 4.5 feet to 7.5 feet by lowering a "Houdini partition" and flipping down the rear seats. With both the rear seats down and the liftgate lowered, the bed will be 9.2 feet in length.
"Alaska breaks with convention," said Henrik Fisker, chairman and CEO of Fisker.
"It doesn't fit into any current segment, as it combines features of a mid-size pickup with the capabilities of a full-size thanks to its innovative expandable bed design."
