Recent reports shed light on a disturbing incident involving Barron Trump, the youngest child of former President Donald Trump. The younger Trump became the focal point of alarming threats from an individual based in Illinois.

Tracy Fiorenza, the woman in question, is believed to have sent a series of menacing emails to the head of Barron Trump's school, Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach, Florida.

The emails, sent between May and June, contained explicit threats, according to Insider. One particularly chilling message allegedly expressed Fiorenza's desire to shoot both the former president and his son.

Such threats against public personalities have been on the rise, especially during politically charged times. For instance, last year witnessed 74 federal arrests related to threats against public figures, a significant jump from the 38 arrests in 2013, NPR reported.

Fiorenza's communications didn't stop with the initial threats. On June 5, she reportedly sent another email to the school's head, reiterating her threats against the Trumps. The email read, "I am going to slam a bullet in Baron Trump's head with his father IN SELF DEFENSE!," according to prosecutors.

Further probes unveiled a Facebook page associated with Fiorenza. The page was reportedly littered with posts echoing conspiracy theories about Trump and other politicians. Interestingly, the page also displayed a letter, allegedly from the Office of the Inspector General, denying her 2020 request to access Barron Trump's academic records, according to Insider.

In a June 14 interview at the U.S. Secret Service's Chicago branch, Fiorenza confessed to crafting the threatening emails. As of now, no legal counsel is listed for Fiorenza in court records.
