Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was reportedly uninvited from a high-end celebrity wedding, according to a recent court filing.
The wedding in question was of Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham, held in Palm Beach, Florida, last year. Peltz, daughter of billionaire GOP donor Nelson Peltz, was adamant about not inviting certain politicians, with DeSantis being specifically named, HuffPost reported
Former wedding planners Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalbaon, who are currently being sued by Nelson Peltz, cited in their defense that the bride and her mother’s constant changes to the guest list were a huge challenge.
The wedding, costing a reported $4 million, saw no sightings of DeSantis at the event. Meanwhile, Nelson Peltz’s support for DeSantis’s 2024 presidential bid seems to be waning, due to the governor’s far-right stance on abortion.
