Marjorie Taylor Greene Accuses Trump's Georgia Prosecutors Of RICO Crimes: 'Trying To Do Exactly What She's Guilty Of'

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), has accused Fulton County Prosecutor Fani Willis of crimes under the RICO statutes, the same crimes prosecutor Willis has charged former President Donald Trump with, without providing any evidence, reports Rolling Stone.

Speaking to Fox News, Greene said that Willis and her team are using these charges to manipulate the outcome of the 2024 election.

"As a matter of fact, I don't think these charges are fair. What Willis is trying to do is exactly what she's guilty of. She's charging him with RICO, racketeering and conspiracy,” she said.

Fani Willis has indicted Trump and 18 others on various charges related to attempts to subvert the Georgia election for Trump’s benefit, including a felony violation of the Georgia Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.

In her defense of Trump, Greene claimed that these charges are part of a “grand conspiracy” by the Democrat party to misuse the justice system at both federal and state levels.

Greene also suggested that these indictments are an effort to obstruct Trump’s chances in the 2024 election by imprisoning him. She stated that these charges are “pure communism” and that Trump is unlikely to receive a fair trial.

Greene did not provide any specific details regarding Willis’ alleged RICO crimes. She has not yet confirmed if she will contest for re-election in the House in 2024.
