Elon Musk Takes On Facebook: 'Manipulating Public Almost Everywhere On Earth'

In a recent post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Elon Musk expressed his views on Facebook’s operations. He accused the social media giant of manipulating the public across the globe and questioned their refusal to open source their algorithm.

What Happened: Musk’s tweet was a response to Michael Shellenberger’s post, which revealed new findings of Facebook, now known as Meta, sponsoring activists to censor their opponents during a national referendum.

“Facebook is manipulating the public almost everywhere on Earth. That is why they won't open source their algorithm,” Musk retweeted quoting Shellenberger.
