Elon Musk expressed admiration for the humor inherent in Donald Trump‘s online posts while responding to a tweet suggesting anticipation for Trump’s return to the social media platform.

A user by the name ALX tweeted, “Trump’s interview with Tucker on X is breaking the internet. Just wait until @realDonaldTrump returns to X himself.”

“Whether one agrees with him or not, he has written some of the funniest posts ever on this platform,” Musk responded.

Why It Matters: Musk’s comment comes in the context of a recent interview with Trump by Tucker Carlson. The interview, released on Musk-owned platform X, formerly Twitter, was conducted at Trump’s golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey. It was pre-recorded and released five minutes ahead of the GOP debate on Wednesday, causing a stir online.

Musk reinstated Trump’s Twitter account following a platform poll. However, the former president is not active on the revamped platform and has stuck to posting on his own social media platform Truth Social.
