Ex-New York mayor Rudy Giuliani said that the mugshots taken in custody will “degrade” the authorities, Business Insider, reported.
“I’m the same Rudy Giuliani that took down the mafia, that made New York City the safest city in America. They’re going to degrade themselves by doing a mugshot of me,” he told reporters.
The Fulton County Sheriff’s office released mugshots of Giuliani after he turned himself in Georgia following an indictment in a far-reaching RICO case. The case is linked to attempts to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia, with Giuliani among 19 co-defendants, including former President Donald Trump.

On Wednesday, Giuliani stated he is innocent and plans to plead not guilty.
