Lawmakers Demand Transparency On Alleged Secret UFO Programs In Letter To Inspector General

Multiple U.S. congress members are calling for transparency about alleged secret UFO programs, as per a letter sent to the inspector general, Fox News reported.

Lawmakers are seeking answers about the supposed clandestine operations surrounding the retrieval and reverse-engineering of crashed UFOs.

The request follows whistleblower David Grusch‘s statements at a House Oversight Committee hearing on July 26, which alluded to such programs and decades of purported governmental secrecy on UFOs, now termed unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP).

Grusch, however, refrained from divulging further details in a public setting due to a pending whistleblower reprisal case against him.

The letter was sent to Inspector General Thomas Monheim and co-signed by six Congress members, including Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.), Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-Florida), Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Florida), Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC), Rep. Eric Burlison (R-Mo.) and Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn).

During the hearing, Grusch claimed that he knew colleagues injured while reverse-engineering UFO tech. He also alleged that the government has possessed UFO tech and “biologics” of “non-human origins” since the 1930s and knows their exact locations.

Following the hearing, Grusch’s medical records were leaked, an act viewed by some as an attempt to discredit his testimony. This act incensed lawmakers, including Burchett, who vowed to retaliate against the perpetrators.

Grusch, along with decorated military pilots Ryan Graves and David Fravor, testified at the July 26 hearing, providing firsthand accounts of UAP encounters.

The hearing followed bipartisan Senate legislation aimed at declassifying and releasing UFO-related records.
