Apple TV+ Teases 'The Morning Show' Season 3 Return; Stays Competitive Amid Netflix Surge and Hollywood Strikes

Apple Inc AAPL Apple TV+ flashed the trailer for the third season of its award-winning and widely acclaimed hit series, “The Morning Show,” starring Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston.

Apple’s streaming service is in no mood to yield to the streaming juggernauts like Netflix Inc NFLX, which saw a significant boost to its subscribers despite its password-sharing crackdown.

The 10-episode third season of “The Morning Show,” executive produced by Witherspoon and Aniston, will mark its highly anticipated return on September 13, 2023.

In season three of “The Morning Show,” the UBA’s (United Broadcast Association) prospects are pushed to the brink when a tech titan targets the network.

The star-studded season three ensemble cast is led by Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Jon Hamm, Nicole Beharie and Julianna Margulies.

Fans can catch up on the first and second seasons of “The Morning Show,” now streaming globally on Apple TV+.

The debut season won multiple awards, including an Emmy Award for Crudup’s performance as Cory Ellison.

This would be an ideal time to leverage the benefits of streaming content as multiple movies get postponed due to the Hollywood actors’ strike.

The streaming service has also tapped sports content, including deals with gaming giants like Sony Group Corp SONY to stay at par with its rivals.

Price Action: AAPL shares traded higher by 0.70% at $177.60 on the last check Friday.
