Tesla Investor Ross Gerber Picks This GOP Candidate For 2024 White House Race: 'Best Chance To Win'

Tesla Inc investor and CEO of Gerber Kawasaki, Ross Gerber, expressed his support for Nikki Haley as the Republican Party’s best chance for the 2024 Presidential election while casting doubt on Donald Trump‘s eligibility to run for the presidency.

What Happened: Gerber reposted a post by Visegrád 24 quoting Haley’s stance on the Ukraine conflict. The post contained a short video clip of Haley’s comments during a show on CNN.

“This is bigger than Ukraine. This is a war about freedom and it’s one we have to win,” Haley was heard saying.

Gerber reposted, “The Republicans would be smart to get behind Nikki Haley. She is their best chance to win. Many in the GOP seem to be in denial that Trump has little chance of winning the general election, if he is even eligible to run as per the 14th amendment.”

Why It Matters: Gerber’s comments follow the first Republican primary debate where former President Trump’s absence left room for other candidates to shine. Haley, former U.N. Ambassador and GOP presidential primary, was among the eight candidates who participated. Polls indicated that she was the third-best performer in the debate.
