A flavored peanut company, Dee’s Nuts, sued YouTuber Mr. Beast’s candy brand Feastables over a chocolate flavor named “Deez Nuts,” alleging trademark infringement, Business Insider reported. The company demanded an injunction against Feastable’s use of the name.
The lawsuit was filed on Aug. 25, claiming the name “Deez Nuts” is “confusingly similar and phonetically equivalent” to the brand name.
Dee’s Nuts founder, Brian Ditore, trademarked the name with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in 2012. The brand has since been distributed by over 100 wholesalers across 34 states.

Feastables, founded by Mr. Beast (real name Jimmy Donaldson) in January 2022, has reportedly made over $10 million in sales by May 2022. Despite a cease-and-desist letter sent by Dee’s Nuts in February, Feastables continues to use the contested name.
Neither company’s attorneys responded to requests for comments over the weekend.
