Marjorie Taylor Greene And Kari Lake's Fierce Competition For Donald Trump's VP Pick

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and Kari Lake, a failed GOP gubernatorial candidate, are locked in a heated race to become Donald Trump‘s running mate in 2024, Rolling Stone reported.

Despite their public unity, the two reportedly view each other as direct competition for Trump’s political favor, according to four insiders. Their rivalry has intensified as they emerge as leading contenders for Trump’s VP spot if he wins the 2024 Republican nomination.

Greene is said to have been undermining Lake in recent weeks, disparaging her among conservative circles. Conversely, Lake has accused Greene of leaking negative press about her. The tension was palpable during Trump’s speech at Mar-a-Lago, where Greene’s demeanor reportedly turned icy following enthusiastic support for Lake.

They argue that either candidate could harm his chances with independent and moderate voters.
