Tesla Fans Upset: 'It's a Dealbreaker!' – New Model 3's 'Annoying' Turn-Signal Buttons Draw Complaints

The redesign of turn signals in the latest Model 3 from Tesla Inc. TSLA has upset numerous fans of the automaker, Business Insider reported.

Tesla recently introduced its revamped Model 3 sedan, which came with many upgrades that thrilled the Tesla loyalists. However, it also included one change that didn’t sit well with many – the relocation of turn signals.

Previously, the Model 3’s turn signals were a part of the steering wheel stalks. Now, they have been moved to a pair of small buttons on the left side of the steering wheel. This modification has sparked a negative response, with some fans even stating they would not purchase the new Model 3 due to this change.

Users on Reddit and other platforms voiced concerns about the practicality of the new blinker buttons, especially when signaling while turning. The new positioning could potentially be awkward and confusing, affecting the usability of the vehicle.

“It’s a dealbreaker for me,” one Redditor said.

“It’s just too annoying, and I’m not going to compromise on turn indication.”

Tesla previously implemented similar changes to the more expensive Model S sedan and Model X SUV. However, the Model 3, known for its mass appeal, faces potential backlash with this new feature.

The Palo Alto-based company has not yet responded to the fan reactions regarding the turn signal change.
