Former Governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie, has promised to alter his campaign schedule to shadow former President Donald Trump if the latter continues to skip Republican debates, USA Today reported.
In an interview on Fox News' "MediaBuzz", Christie confirmed that if Trump continues to avoid the debates, he will follow him across the country to set up their own one-on-one discussion.
The former President avoided the first Republican debate last month and is not anticipated to attend the second one, scheduled at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute in Simi Valley, California.

“I'm sure he's not coming to the Reagan debate. We'll give him another chance in Alabama,” said Christie referencing a yet-to-be-scheduled third debate.
"But if he doesn't come there, then I'm going to follow him around the country. Wherever he goes, I'll go. And we'll wind up talking to each other one way or another," Christie said
In the past, Christie has accused Trump of being a “crybaby” and “loser” for skipping and threatening to skip the Republican events. Conversely, Trump justifies his choice by stating that he is leading in Republican polls and doesn’t want to provide rivals an opportunity to attack him in person.
