These 5 Big Changes In iPhone 15 Series Will Be The Stand Out Upgrades Over iPhone 14

USB Type-C Port

The biggest and perhaps the most anticipated change in the iPhone 15 lineup is the introduction of the USB Type-C port. All four models are expected to adopt this universal port in compliance with new EU regulations. 

According to reports, iPhone 15 Pro models will support USB 4.0 technology, boasting lightning-fast data transfer speeds of up to 40Gbps. Rumors also point toward color-matched braided USB-C cables as part of the package.

Dynamic Island On Every iPhone 15 

Leaked videos have hinted at a game-changing feature called “Dynamic Island” on all iPhone 15 models. This feature allows quick access to frequently used apps and settings without the need to navigate through the phone’s menus. 

While this was initially reserved for the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, Dynamic Island is expected to become a standard feature in the iPhone 15 lineup. 

Camera Upgrades 

Apple’s partnership with Sony is expected to improve HD photography capabilities for the iPhone 15 models significantly. This includes better performance when capturing subjects against strong backlighting. 

The flagship iPhone 15 Pro Max is rumored to receive a substantial camera upgrade, potentially incorporating a periscope camera to enhance zooming capabilities, promising even better photography and videography experiences.

Performance Boost

Under the hood, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are expected to be powered by the Apple A16 Bionic chipset, while the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will likely feature a cutting-edge 3-nanometer A17 Bionic chipset. 

This transition from 5nm to 3nm chips for Apple’s smartphones promises improved performance and energy efficiency. 

Additionally, there are reports of an extra GPU core being added to the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max for a significant performance boost, along with a potential RAM upgrade to 8GB, up from 6GB in their predecessors.

Hardware Upgrades 

The iPhone 15 Pro models are rumored to undergo a major design change by featuring a titanium body instead of the traditional steel frame. This design shift takes inspiration from the Apple Watch Ultra, promising a sleek and durable build. 

Furthermore, Apple is set to push the boundaries of smartphone design with thinner bezels, especially in the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models, which are expected to have remarkably slim 1.5mm borders around the display.
