Elon Musk‘s upcoming biography revealed that while the Tesla CEO showed no regrets after posting a baseless conspiracy theory about Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s husband, he admitted it to be one of his “dumbest mistakes”Business Insider reported.
When confronted by staff of X, formerly known as Twitter, and company advertisers about the now-deleted post, Musk was quoted explaining his Twitter usage as an extension of his personality.
“I’m going to tweet some things that are going to be stupid, and I’m going to make mistakes,” Musk admitted during a series of meetings.

The post linked to a baseless story from the Santa Monica Observer about Paul Pelosi being inebriated and arguing with a male escort when he was attacked by an assailant in October 2022. Musk promptly deleted the post and later apologized.
Isaacson also mentioned that advertisers were not pleased with Musk’s Twitter antics.
“Twitter was supposed to be a billion-dollar business, not an extension of Elon Musk’s quirks and flaws,” he wrote.
