Apple Inc. AAPL will start rolling out the iOS 17 update with a slew of new features starting September 18. However, not every iPhone will get the iOS 17 update, which will be the end of the road for these iPhones on iOS 16.
iPhones usually are amongst the best-supported smartphones, with Apple providing regular software updates for five years from launch. In fact, some iPhones have received security updates for a much longer duration for critical security fixes.
With that said, Apple will drop a few iPhones from its iOS update cycle this year. Read on to find out if your iPhone will get the iOS 17 update or not.
