Elon Musk has once again criticized Yoel Roth, former Head of Trust and Safety on Twitter, now rebranded as X, adding another chapter to their ongoing dispute.

What Happened: The latest episode in the ongoing feud between Musk and Roth unfolded on X on Friday. The tech billionaire’s criticism of Roth was triggered by a post from Wall Street Silver that accused Roth of inaction regarding child image issues on the platform during his tenure.

The Wall Street Silver account shared a screenshot of Roth’s post on BlueSky in which he accused Musk of making antisemitic remarks. “With Musk going full-on antisemite, I missed this update…”

In response, Musk said, “He is not a good person.”

Why It’s Important: Last year, Musk made implications about Roth condoning pedophilia, which resulted in a torrent of threats and harassment against the former Twitter employee and his family. The accusations were reportedly false.

The harassment had even forced Roth and his family to leave their home.

Musk also reportedly misrepresented Roth’s academic work, referring to his Ph.D. thesis titled “Gay Data” from the University of Pennsylvania, insinuating a connection between the thesis and inappropriate content.

This accusation echoed false narratives associated with the LGBTQ+ community.
