The Falcon 9 rocket is set to deliver the Starlink satellites into the low-Earth orbit as part of the company’s ongoing efforts to expand its internet service coverage.

Later, SpaceX, in another post on X, stated that this was SpaceX’s 65th launch of the year.

Why It Matters: This launch is part of a broader agreement between SpaceX and the Canadian satellite operator, Telesat Corporation TSAT. SpaceX’s Falcon 9 will conduct a series of launches from California and Florida, carrying Telesat Lightspeed constellation satellites to low-Earth orbit.

These launches, scheduled to begin in 2026, mark a significant step in SpaceX’s ambitious plan to extend global service coverage by late 2027.
