Apparently, This 'Major Issue' On Elon Musk's X Can Destroy Your Reach On The Platform

A user on X, formerly Twitter, has highlighted a potentially significant issue on Elon Musk’s social media platform, expressing concerns that it may negatively impact people’s reach and discourage interactions with smaller accounts.

What Happened: Over the weekend, the user who goes by the name NFT God took to X and raised concerns regarding how the platform’s algorithm currently operates

According to the user, the algorithm penalizes users who interact with accounts considered undesirable or having unfavorable follower-to-following ratios and urges immediate changes, proposing a series of modifications to the platform.

These proposed changes include the removal of Tweepcred, eliminating the page-ranking algorithm that could negatively affect users for interacting with the ‘wrong’ accounts, and offering boosts to smaller accounts, especially those verified as genuine human users.

Moreover, NFT God emphasized the importance of transparency, suggesting that X should open source its front-end and back-end code.

Musk, who acquired Twitter and rebranded it as X for a staggering $44 billion, responded to NFT God’s concerns, stating, “Looking into it.”

Musk’s acknowledgment of the issue implies that changes may be on the horizon for the platform.

Why It’s Important: While Musk’s journey at the helm of X has been filled with chaos, he has often been hailed for offering “fastest customer support.”

Previously, a user requested Musk to introduce “a separate feed for videos only” on the platform, to which the tech billionaire responded with “coming.”
