Also, on the positive front, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co TSM discussed with Arizona authorities adding advanced chip packaging capacity at its plants in the state, adding to the relief of Nvidia's supply chain issues.
Reports regarding the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 also continue to excite Wall Street.
The RTX 5090 will be 1.7x faster (than the RTX 4090) with 192 SMs or 24,576 FP32 cores, given that the RTX 4090 offers 128 SMs and 16,384 FP32 cores. Regarding memory bandwidth, the RTX 5090 could come with 1,532 GB/s of adequate bandwidth versus the 1,008 GB/s in the 4090.
Also, Nvidia's top-end Blackwell gaming GPU will use a chiplet design on TSMC 3nm process node.
