The grandson of JFK, Jack Schlossberg, has reiterated his disapproval of his cousin, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s presidential bid for 2024 while continuing to express his support for President Joe Biden.
What Happened: Expressing satisfaction with his previous comments criticizing RFK Jr.’s presidential aspirations, Schlossberg, on NBC’s "TODAY" show, said, “I'm very glad I did it,” reported The Hill.
"I stand by what I said in my video."
"These are the issues that matter. And if my cousin, Bobby Kennedy Jr., cared about any of them, he would support Joe Biden too," he said.

Schlossberg also reiterated his support for Biden. "I think Joe Biden is a fantastic president," he said.
"I think on every issue from the economy, health care, climate change, civil rights, his record speaks for itself."
Why It Matters: RFK Jr., an environmental lawyer and vaccine skeptic, has drawn criticism for his controversial comments about COVID-19 and vaccines. He earlier suggested that COVID-19 may have been "deliberately targeted" to certain demographics and races, sparking backlash from the White House and other public figures.
In July, Schlossberg termed RFK Jr.’s candidacy as “an embarrassment,” citing RFK Jr.’s support of various conspiracy theories as a major concern. He also endorsed Biden, whom he described as “the greatest progressive president we've ever had,” acknowledging his ends to the COVID pandemic and the Trump era.
Schlossberg joined his mother on NBC to announce this year’s recipients of the family’s annual Profile in Courage awards. The awards honored five South Carolina state Senators as domestic winners and recognized South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida as the international awardees.
