Ex-White House Official Accuses Donald Trump Of Spreading Lies To 'Vulnerable' Americans: 'Dangerous For The Country'

In a recent interview, Cassidy Hutchinson, a former White House senior advisor, has labelled ex-president Donald Trump as “dangerous for the country.”

What Happened: Hutchinson, who served under White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, made these comments in her first TV interview since testifying before the House Select Committee on the Jan. 6 attack. The interview is set to air on Sept. 24, CBS News reported.

After her testimony, Hutchinson had to relocate to Atlanta due to safety concerns. In the interview, she also discussed the discrepancies between her televised testimony and previous depositions, and revealed details about her new book, “Enough”.

Hutchinson also shared that she almost didn’t appear before the House Select Committee, but was encouraged by her attorney to proceed. Despite maintaining her Republican affiliation, Hutchinson confirmed that she would not support Trump in the 2024 election.

“He is willing and has showed, time and time again, willingness to proliferate lies to vulnerable American people so he could stay in power. To me, that is the most un-American thing that you can do,” Hutchinson told CBS News.
