RNC Takes Aim At Joe Biden: 'Country Is More Divided Than It's Ever Been'

The Chairwoman of the Republican National Committee (RNC), Ronna McDaniel, criticized President Joe Biden, for dividing the country under his leadership, The Hill reported.

McDaniel’s comments were a response to Biden’s campaign promise of bridging the divide in the country.

She said, "The president, you know, came in as this unifier — ‘I'm going to work across the aisle' — and he has been nothing like that at all. Our party, our country is more divided than it's ever been."

McDaniel referred to a clip from Biden's speech at the 2023 Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's Phoenix Awards Dinner, where the President blamed former President Trump and MAGA Republicans for spreading anger and division.

The RNC Chairwoman pointed to a Washington Post-ABC News poll showing increasing dissatisfaction among Americans with Biden's handling of the economy and immigration. She said, "We're also failing as a country… ‘Bidenomics' is failing, crime is rising, … our border is out of control, people are dying of fentanyl. Joe Biden is failing in his approval."
