Tesla's VP Of Vehicle Engineering On New Model 3 Highland: 'It's All A Bit Like Artwork'

The Tesla Inc. TSLA VP of Vehicle Engineering, Lars Moravy, recently made an appearance in a video discussing the firm’s new Model 3 Highland.

According to Teslarati, Moravy spoke about the vehicle’s enhancements and the significant role Tesla China’s engineering team played in its development.

“It's all a bit like artwork. I'm super excited to get a new one. Why wouldn't you want that?" Moravy said.

The video, shared on Tesla’s official Weibo account, features the executive and his team testing various aspects of the new Model 3. Moravy emphasized their primary goal was to enhance customer satisfaction.

Moravy expressed his pride in being part of the team that created the original all-electric sedan and said the new Model 3 is designed to implement the lessons learned over the past six years.

The executive also revealed that the updated Model 3 represents the debut of Tesla China’s engineering team since the vehicle was largely developed in the country. This achievement is notable given the high standards set by the original Model 3.

Further details about the new Model 3 Highland can be seen in Tesla’s video posted on Weibo.
