Elon Musk Calls For Mitch McConnell To Step Aside: 'Seriously, It's Time...To Move On'

Tesla Inc CEO and owner of X, formerly Twitter, Elon Musk has publicly urged Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell to step down from his position.

Musk’s post read “Seriously, it’s time for Mitch to move on,” hinting at recent health concerns around McConnell, according to a report by Business Insider.

The 81-year-old McConnell was caught freezing during two separate press conferences in July and August.

This isn’t the first time Musk has commented on aging politicians like McConnell. After the video of McConnell freezing mid-sentence during a press meeting surfaced on X, Musk responded by urging for a “constitutional amendment” to set term limits.

In July 2022, he suggested that former President Donald Trump should retire from politics and proposed setting an age limit for the U.S. presidency.
