AMC Entertainment Holdings, Inc. AMC shares are trending on Thursday amid a flurry of anticipated new theatrical releases.

What To Know:

On Monday, AMC announced the upcoming release of "Renaissance: A Film By Beyonce" which chronicles the artist's Renaissance world concert tour distributed by AMC Theatres Distribution.

AMC had previously announced the upcoming release and distribution of Taylor Swift's concert film,  "Taylor Swift - The Eras Tour", which will open in AMC theaters on Oct. 13. 

AMC shares are volatile Thursday with more than 10.75 million shares already traded in the session, compared to the stock's average of 14.952 million shares. 

According to data from Benzinga Pro, 11.20% of AMC shares are being sold short.
