Popular Social Media Platform TikTok Taps Disney to Boost Content and Engagement

Beginning October 16, in honor of 100th anniversary, Walt Disney Co DIS will offer fans a unique interactive experience on TikTok where stories, magic, and memories come together.

Fans can watch videos from across Disney's brands, create videos with Disney music and effects, play daily Disney trivia, and collect and trade "Character Cards" to win unique profile frames to express their fandom.

With over 48 Disney handles participating, the four-week activation will be live in 24 regions worldwide.

Also, TikTok is curating a special Disney100 Playlist for its community featuring some of the most popular hits from the Disney catalog, including songs from Walt Disney Animation Studios classics like Cinderella and The Lion King.

Disney will also become a TikTok Pulse Premiere publisher, allowing advertisers to deliver ads adjacent to some of the world's most premium entertainment and sports content only from Disney on TikTok's For You feed.

TikTok's Pulse Premiere permitted a privileged group of creators to collect half the revenue from video ads after their TikTok posts.
