Zapp Electric Vehicles is a UK-based, high-performance two-wheel electric vehicle company. ZAPP shares could be driven, in part, by the extra attention on the EV sector after Tesla TSLA released its third-quarter financial reports on Wednesday. 

On Sept. 13, Zapp EV announced a partnership with Younited SA to offer customers the Younited Pay finance solution ahead of Zapp's first i300 customer deliveries later this year.

Zapp Electric Vehicles' stock is down on heavy trading volume with more than 100 times the average number of shares traded.

According to data from Benzinga Pro, more than 16.5 million shares have already been traded in the session, compared to the stock's 100-day average of less than 108 thousand shares.
