Former President Allegedly Asked Melania Trump To Wear Bikini For Friends At Mar-A-Lago: 'So All The Other Guys Could Get A Look At What They Were Missing'

Former president Donald Trump reportedly asked his wife, Melania Trump, to wear a bikini to impress his friends at Mar-a-Lago.

What Happened: In a leaked audio shared by 60 Minutes Australia, Australian businessman Anthony Pratt, a former Trump donor and a member of the Palm Beach, Florida, country club, shared this incident that allegedly occurred during Trump’s presidency.

According to the recordings, Pratt stated that Trump had asked Melania to “saunter around the pool in her swimsuit so all the other guys could get a look at what they were missing.”

“I'll do that when you walk around with me in your bikini," the Slovenian model reportedly said to her husband’s request.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Trump categorically denied Pratt’s account, saying that the information was from "sources which totally lack proper context and relevant information."

Why It Matters: A former prominent donor to Trump, Pratt has been questioned by investigators from Special Counsel Jack Smith‘s team, The New York Times reported. He is identified as a potential witness in Trump’s upcoming trial related to the mishandling of classified documents following his departure from the White House in 2021.

This revelation comes on the heels of another unsettling Trump-related story that surfaced in excerpts of Sen. Mitt Romney's (R-Utah) forthcoming biography. It was reported that Trump made an inappropriate comment about Romney’s wife.

Earlier this year, Trump was also found liable for defaming writer E. Jean Carroll, who accused him of sexual assault, a claim he denies. Moreover, eighteen other women have leveled allegations of sexual misconduct against him, as per ABC News. Trump was also notoriously recorded discussing inappropriate advances towards women without their consent in the 2016 “Access Hollywood” tapes.
