Tim Cook Highlights AI As 'Fundamental Technology' In Apple's Earnings Call

During Apple Inc.’s AAPL recent earnings call, CEO Tim Cook underscored the major role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the company’s products and future development.

Apple Insider reported that Cook pledged AI is not just a developmental stage for Apple, but is already an integral part of their products.

He stated, “We view AI and machine learning as fundamental technologies and they’re integral to virtually every product that we ship.”

The CEO further emphasized AI’s centrality to Apple’s developments, highlighting how it was at the core of features in the recently launched iOS 17, such as personal voice and live voicemail.

Many suspect that Apple’s ongoing investments in AI may lead to a more potent Siri, although no clear timeline or project has been officially announced yet.
