What's Going On With Fisker Stock?

Fisker Inc FSR shares are trading higher Monday. The company appointed a new chief technology officer late Friday

What Happened: Fisker announced that David King will replace Burkhard Huhnke as Fisker's CTO, effective immediately. Huhnke is leaving the company for personal reasons and King is being promoted from his role as senior vice president of engineering. 

King will now lead Fisker's global engineering and software teams in the U.S., Europe, India and China. He will report to chairman and CEO Henrik Fisker.

"David has made major contributions to our engineering innovations and has provided dynamic leadership as we have moved into volume production and deliveries of the Ocean SUV," Fisker said.

"He will now bring his considerable experience to the task of leading the company into the next phase of its growth as we bring several new vehicles to market by 2025."

Fisker is scheduled to report third-quarter financial results before the market opens on Wednesday. The company is expected to report a loss of 18 cents per share and revenue of $109.029 million, according to Benzinga Pro.

FSR Price Action: Fisker shares were up 2.14% at $4.65 at the time of publication, per Benzinga Pro.
