How Soon You Will Get Access To Elon Musk's AI Chatbot Grok Depends On Length Of Time You've Had An X Premium+ Account

During the weekend, Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence enterprise, xAI, released its first AI model, Grok, for limited users. The tech mogul has now explained how his company will prioritize giving access to more users.

What Happened: On Tuesday, Musk took X (formerly Twitter) and informed users that xAI will prioritize access to Grok according to the “length of time” a person has had an X Premium+ account.

The tech billionaire had previously announced that once Grok exits the early beta phase, it will become available to all X Premium+ subscribers. Simply put, it will be a key feature of the newly introduced premium subscription level by Musk’s social media platform.

The earlier X Premium came with an $8/month or $85/year price tag for individuals. On the other hand, the new X Premium+ subscription costs $16 per month, and it comes with no ads in the “For You” or “Following” section.

Why It’s Important: It was previously reported that with Grok, Musk doesn’t intend to compete only with AI platforms like OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google Bard, and Microsoft’s Bing AI

In fact, he wants to make the word “Grok” synonymous with the act of using AI, similar to how we use the term “googling” for searching on the internet.

Grok has already been receiving positive feedback from users on social media as they deem this AI model incredibly “refreshing” in terms of how it responds to queries than other rival platforms.
