Several popular automakers took to X, formerly Twitter, on Christmas to wish their drivers and prospective customers. The wishes were coupled with at least a mention of one of their vehicles, offering hints into companies and their personal favorites.
Tesla Inc TSLA: As expected, Tesla took to X on Christmas with a picture of its stainless steel Cybertruck in snow amidst high winter trees and carrying a decked Christmas tree. The triangular truck is the company’s latest addition to its lineup which it started delivering to customers in late November.
Ford Motor Co F: Ford CEO Jim Farley posted a short video featuring a Ford Mustang within a snow globe. With production starting in the 1960s, Mustang is Ford’s longest-produced car nameplate and marks its long legacy.
Stellantis NV STLA: Chrysler parent Stellantis took to X with a video similar to that of Ford. However, instead of a single vehicle, Stellantis accommodated three brands within the snow globe: Jeep, RAM, and Chrysler.
Chrysler on its own X account also posted a picture of its Pacifica minivan, complete with antlers and a red rose to resemble Rudolf the red-nosed reindeer.
Rivian Automotive Inc RIVN: Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe wished his followers Christmas with a graphic of a red Rivian R1T hauling a sleigh, opting for the company’s lower-priced truck over its pricier R1S SUV.
Lucid Group Inc LCID: EV startup Lucid surprisingly took to X with a black Lucid Air. The company chose the luxury sedan for its Christmas instead of going with the Lucid Gravity SUV it introduced last month.
