Apollo Neuro Wearable Combines 'Good Vibes' With AI To Alleviate Stress, Anxiety

Apollo Neuroscience has unveiled the Apollo Neuro wearable at CES 2024, promising to use “good vibes” and AI to alleviate stress and anxiety.

What Happened: As per a Mashable report on Wednesday, the Apollo Neuro wearable, being showcased at CES 2024, is a wrist or ankle band that emits various feel-good vibrations to cater to different needs. The innovative band claims to help users through high-anxiety situations, such as social functions, by simply delivering the appropriate vibrations.

It also boasts an optional SmartVibes feature, which uses AI to provide personalized experiences based on user’s health and sleep patterns. This feature is available as a subscription for $99.99 (iOS) and $79.99 (Android) annually. SmartVibes utilizes AI to predict when users need rest or an energy boost.

Despite the mixed results, the reviewer appreciated the Apollo Neuro for its data collection capabilities and the ability to connect with the Oura ring. The wearable also offers preset vibration profiles designed to enhance specific mental states or activities. These profiles include “Energy,” “Social,” “Focus,” “Recover,” “Calm,” “Unwind,” and “Fall Asleep.”

The company, backed by clinical trials with participants ranging from athletes to adults diagnosed with ADHD, claims to have seen improvements in heart-rate variability (HRV), sleep quality, cardiovascular recovery, focus, concentration, stress reduction, and positive behavior.

Why It Matters: The Apollo Neuro wearable is a continuation of the company’s innovative approach to wellness technology. In October 2023, Apollo Neuroscience introduced SmartVibes, the first wearable with AI-driven personalized sleep and stress relief. This technology, designed to calm the body and restore balance to the nervous system, delivers gentle, soothing vibrations scientifically validated to improve sleep and lower stress.

With the Apollo Neuro wearable, Apollo is taking its commitment to wellness technology a step further. The wearable’s ability to integrate with user data and deliver personalized experiences based on health and sleep patterns is a noteworthy addition to the wellness wearables category.
