Build-A-Bear Workshop Reports Upbeat Earnings, Joins VAALCO Energy, Dick's Sporting Goods And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Thursday

U.S. stocks were lower, with the Dow Jones index falling more than 100 points on Thursday.

Shares of Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc. BBW rose sharply during Thursday’s session after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter EPS but missed on revenue, according to data from Benzinga Pro. Additionally, the company guided FY24 revenue growth on a low-to-mid-single-digit percentage basis.

Build-A-Bear Workshop shares jumped 15.7% to $29.20 on Thursday.

  • Turtle Beach Corporation HEAR shares surged 29.2% to $14.25 after the company announced the acquisition of PDP and its intention to launch a modified "Dutch Auction" Tender Offer. The company also reported fourth-quarter financial results.
  • VAALCO Energy, Inc. EGY shares climbed 22% to $5.45 after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter financial results.
  • DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. DKS gained 14.8% to $215.70 after the company reported strong fourth-quarter results and issued guidance above consensus estimates.
  • Lithium Americas Corp. LAC climbed 14.6% to $6.57 after the company announced that it received a conditional commitment from the U.S. Department of Energy for a $2.26 billion loan under the Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing Loan Program for financing the construction of the processing facilities at Thacker Pass in Nevada.
  • Impinj, Inc. PI rose 11.5% to $126.53 after the company announced a patent litigation settlement with NXP Semiconductors.
  • Palomar Holdings, Inc. PLMR gained 9.4% to $83.24. Jefferies analyst Andrew Andersen upgraded Palomar from Hold to Buy and raised the price target from $78 to $88.
  • Eventbrite, Inc. EB rose 8.7% to $5.55. Eventbrite announced a $100 million share repurchase program.
  • Perfect Corp. PERF climbed 8.6% to $2.8550.
  • Liquidia Corporation LQDA surged 8.5% to $15.98.
  • IHS Holding Limited IHS gained 7.7% to $3.05. TD Cowen analyst Gregory Williams maintained IHS Holding with an Outperform and lowered the price target from $19 to $15.
  • Robinhood Markets, Inc. HOOD gained 6.3% to $18.24 after the company reported February trading metrics.
  • Cryoport, Inc. CYRX gained 6.1% to $15.24. CryoPort recently reported worse-than-expected fourth-quarter financial results and issued FY24 revenue guidance below estimates.
  • Lotus Technology Inc. LOT gained 5.7% to $7.79.
