Elon Musk Reacts As GOP House Judiciary Says Biden Administration Is 'Flying' Migrants Into US

Tesla Inc. CEO Elon Musk struck a note of agreement with the House Judiciary GOP's accusations that the Joe Biden administration is "flying" migrants into the U.S.

What Happened: Musk reposted a claim made by House Judiciary GOP on X, formerly Twitter, that the Biden administration is engaging in a "border crisis cover-up."

House Judiciary chair Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) posted a New York Post interview of National Border Patrol Council president Brandon Judd, who alleged that President Biden's government is "paroling people in through airports rather than having them come across the border."

The current border crossings, at 5,000 per day, are still "five times higher than what should be," according to Judd.

Musk, who has been a vocal critic of illegal immigration, agreed with the report, with a single-word "Yup" post.

Why It Matters: Musk has been vocal about his concerns regarding the Biden administration’s immigration policies.

On Thursday, Musk slammed New York City's $53 million pilot program for illegal immigrants. Under the program, eligible people would get prepaid debit cards to use towards their food and baby supplies.

In February, he accused President Biden of encouraging “so much illegal immigration” for political gain.

He also raised concerns about the administration’s immigration policy, warning that the groundwork was being laid for something far worse than 9/11.

His recent post adds to the ongoing debate about the Biden administration’s handling of the border crisis and its impact on the country’s immigration policies.
