Tesla Inc. CEO and SpaceX founder Elon Musk dismissed Tucker Carlson's statement that aliens are living among us on Earth.
What Happened: Musk shared his thoughts on the existence of aliens, stating that he has seen no evidence despite the numerous satellites orbiting Earth.
"I have seen no evidence for aliens and, with ~6000 satellites orbiting Earth, I think I would know."
He was responding to a statement made by former Fox News host, Tucker Carlson. Carlson had discussed aliens during The Joe Rogan Experience, describing them as spiritual entities and supernatural beings.

"They've been here for thousands of years. It's pretty clear to me that they're spiritual entities, or supernatural."

"There's a ton of evidence they're under the ocean and under the ground," he added, asking Joe Rogan what would he conclude from this.
Why It Matters: Musk's skepticism about the existence of aliens also contradicts popular theories and could spark debates about the topic.
This is also one of the rare times in recent history that Musk has disagreed with something that Carlson has said. Most recently, he talked up Carlson's interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin as he seeks to make X, formerly Twitter, the "everything app."
He also praised Carlson's interview with Tristan Tate, calling it "more interesting than you may expect."
Musk did clarify that he simply disagrees with Carlson's views on aliens, not that he's "over" the controversial host.
