In a shocking turn of events, Slovakia’s Prime Minister, Robert Fico, has been hospitalized following a shooting incident, as per media reports.
The incident took place in the town of Handlova, which is approximately 150 kilometers northeast of the capital, Bratislava, according to news television station TA3. The authorities have apprehended a suspect in relation to the shooting, AP reported on Wednesday.
Unverified footage that has surfaced on the internet depicts several men detaining the suspect near a cultural center in Handlova.
