Elon Musk Says Donald Trump Calls Him For No Reason: 'I Don't Know Why'

Tesla CEO Elon Musk unveiled details of his interactions with former President Donald Trump during the company’s shareholder meeting.

What Happened: During the meeting, Musk revealed his discussions with Trump, stating, “He does call me out of the blue for no reason. I don’t know why, but he does.”

He added that he has been promoting the significance of electric vehicles (EVs) in their conversations, reported Fox News.

Musk also said that Trump is “very nice when he calls” and recalled telling Trump that EVs are “pretty good for the future” and that “America’s the leader in electric cars.” 

According to the billionaire entrepreneur, many of Trump’s friends are Tesla owners and fans. The Wall Street Journal earlier reported about the twos “growing alliance,” suggesting that Trump could offer Musk an advisory role in the White House if the former regains the presidency. However, Musk has not commented on this speculation.
